Leadership News

  • Ms. Carter, our awesome librarian, will be hosting a quarterly book club called Fiction Addiction during access on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This group is for all readers across all grades! If you like reading or not, this is a great way to come together as an LC community! If you are interested in a social gathering with other LC people, then this is the group for you!

  • During Access Ms. Tyler will be hosting LC 1000 Origami Crane Project. As a team, we will fold a thousand paper cranes to be given to someone from our community who is sick. According to the legend, the magic of the paper cranes will grant that person one wish. Come help us make this possible.

  • Would you like to get to know more LCMS students and meet new people? Join the leadership students in room 22 during both 6th and 7/8 lunches. Mrs. Mahoney will be there also to answer any questions.  There may also be a special treat!

Bring your lunch and meet us in room 22.

  • Do you like to run?  Come join Cross country!!!  There will be an informational meeting in the library on Tuesday during 6th and 7th/8th grade lunch.  See you there!

  • Back to School Night is this Thursday

  • **Spirit Day - This Friday wear socks with sandals!!!

Odyssey of the Mind Parent Information Night:

Do you have a child who is Musical? Theatrical? Creative? Innovative? Technologically Savvy? Find out how you can put those talents to work this year!!!

Los Cerros is participating in the Odyssey of the mind regional completion to be held in February 2019. We are looking for interested students to join. Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative problem-solving competition that helps students develop skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, math, science, writing, engineering and the performing arts. A parent information night will be held on September 12th at 7 PM at the school library. Please join us there if you are interested and want to have more information. Odyssey of the Mind Regional Director Janis Dewar will also be present. So it will be a great opportunity to hear directly from program leadership. Please bring your children, so that they can hear about the program. We'll have a creative problem for them to solve then and there!!!
