Michelle Ross
Hello everyone! You will recognize me right away by my big, wild, curly blond hair. I am Michelle Ross and am a graduate of SDSU and FIDM. I have two daughters, a junior at Monte Vista and an 8th grader at Charlotte Wood. I have 2 dogs, a black Lab named Lola, a black Pomeranian named Mitzi, and a cat named Jazelle. Between 3 pets and 2 teenage girls, I have a crazy household. : ) I love music, going to concerts, and weekend get aways. My favorite place to be is with my toes in the sand on ANY beach. I am an A's, Raiders, and Sharks fan and enjoy going to those games.
I have been teaching 6th grade since 1996 at Los Cerros....the middle school which I also attended. I am a former Vista Grande and Monte Vista student as well, so it has been an absolute pleasure to teach. I love their timid faces the first day of school, their expressions when I tell them there is " no more recess", and sadness and fondness as they high - 5 and hug me on their way out the door in June. Sixth grade is a time of huge growth, and I strive to make their middle school experience positive, engaging and memorable. Go Panthers!
