About Mrs. Klopstock

My name is Mrs. Klopstock and I have been teaching at Los Cerros for fifteen wonderful years.  Sports were always a huge part of my life, and I played many different sports as a child.  My favorite sports were swimming, basketball, and soccer.  When I was in seventh grade I realized I wanted to become a PE teacher. I graduated from C.S.U. Chico with a degree in Physical Education and received my teaching credential from San Francisco State. After I graduated, I worked at Martin Luther King Intermediate School for five years and then came to Los Cerros to continue my teaching career.

In August, I celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary.  I have two boys, a junior and a senior in high school.  In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, hiking, and walking my dogs.  I also love spending time with my friends and family. I feel very fortunate to be part of the Los Cerros community.  I have the best job in the world!  I love teaching PE, and I also look forward to being the Yearbook Advisor for my second year. I hope to inspire students to always try their best and reach for their goals.
